Mom and Dad brought over the summer/fall 1983 album with my baby photos. A few weeks after my birth, my Dad and sister were already so fed up with my whining and crying that they decided to escape into the wilderness. They brought back this Jem, er, gem, of a photo.
Check the size of that pack! I wonder if Dad carried any of the gear, or if he just dumped it all on his offspring?
